Our client is a leading International law firm which is highly regarded across many commercial legal disciplines. They are recognised for providing high level legal advice to the financial services and technology sectors amongst others.Their highly rated Financial Regulation team cover a wide range of regulatory and financial legislation advice including: Financial Services and Markets Act (FSMA), Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) rules; the Building Societies Act; data protection; the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID); and Retail Distribution Review (RDR). Other matters handled by the team include anti-money laundering, consumer credit, insurance, conduct of business, customer documentation, e-commerce and advertising and marketing regulation.They are ideally looking to speak to newly qualified Solicitors who are seeking to forge a career in this highly-specialised, complex area of law, with a strong contentious training contract, backed by strong academics. Specific experience of Financial Regulatory work is not essential.
