Overview
You will join a renowned regional law firm’s Social Care Insurance team to handle a breadth of complex insurance matters, with a focus on abuse-related claims. You bring extensive expertise in insurance law affecting local authorities, vulnerable adults, and children. You will manage a team of lawyers and contribute to business development for the team and firm. This is an opportunity to drive the practice forward, with partner-level consideration for the right senior candidate.
Responsibilities
- Handle a wide spectrum of complex insurance matters with emphasis on abuse cases and related claims
- Manage and develop a team of lawyers
- Support marketing of the team’s and firm’s services to clients
- Collaborate with colleagues to drive practice growth and reputation
- Engage in confidential discussions with senior stakeholders regarding strategy and growth
Key requirements
- at least 6 PQE
- extensive experience in complex insurance law involving local authorities, vulnerable adults and children
- experience managing a team of lawyers
