We are working with a UK-based international law firm that provides the full spectrum of corporate and commercial services to its high quality client base.

The firm has a well-regarded Intellectual Property practice, offering a broad range of legal services in relation to IP protection, enforcement, and commercialisation.

They have a defined need for an Associate level IP (non-contentious) lawyer (ideally 3PQE+) to provide support to its IP lawyers in London. The ideal candidate will be based in the North, including Leeds and Manchester.

The role will involve high quality work in non-contentious IP matters including –

  1. Corporate support – drafting and negotiating IP sections of sale documents, due diligence, ancillary agreements (licences and assignment documents) largely in the pharmaceutical and tech space
  2. Sponsorship Agreements, brand licences, co-existence agreements, collaboration and research and development agreements
  3. Trade mark portfolio management – managing a global portfolio for over 500 marks across the world, clearance searches, managing local counsel
  4. IPO TM Registry work – drafting trade mark specifications, advising on filing strategy, oppositions and evidence
  5. IP advisory work – IP audits, infringement analysis, opposition strategy

This is a unique opportunity for a high calibre IP lawyer in the North to work on exciting IP work outside of the regions and work alongside senior IP lawyers in London.
