I’m working with a leading claimant firm that’s continuing to grow its Serious Injury team dealing with Armed Forces claims. This Nottingham role is a good opportunity to get into a really specialist area of serious injury work and build something long term. The team represents serving and former members of the Armed Forces who have suffered serious and catastrophic injuries, both on and off duty. The work is high value, complex and deeply rewarding, focusing not only on compensation but also on securing rehabilitation and long-term support for clients and their families.
You’ll be part of a specialist Military Serious Injury team handling Armed Forces claims, Service Inquiries and Coroners’ Inquests, alongside major serious injury litigation. The firm is committed to giving lawyers the time and support to run their cases properly and build lasting client relationships.
The Role- Manage your own caseload of military serious injury claims
- Assist on complex, high-value Armed Forces matters, including inquests and service investigations
- Work directly with injured service personnel and their families
- Support clients through rehabilitation, treatment and long-term care planning
- Build strong relationships with referrers and support organisations
- 2–7 PQE Solicitor with claimant Serious Injury experience
- Confident running multi-track and higher-value matters
- A genuine interest in working with military and Armed Forces clients
- Strong client care skills and an empathetic, people-focused approach
- Willing to travel to meet clients when required
- Salary in the region of £50,000 – £70,000 depending on experience
- High-quality, specialist claimant work
- Hybrid working with mainly remote flexibility – 1 office day per week.
