Our commitment to delivering top-notch legal services to our clients has made us one of the leading law firms in the region. We are now seeking a talented and dedicated Defendant EL/PL Solicitor / Associate to join our dynamic team.
As a Defendant EL/PL Solicitor, you will have the opportunity to work on complex and challenging cases involving employers' and public liability claims. You will be responsible for providing legal advice, conducting investigations, and representing our clients in court. This role offers a unique chance to build your career and make a real impact within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a caseload of EL/PL claims from inception to resolution
- Conducting thorough legal research and providing sound legal advice to clients
- Preparing and drafting legal documents, including pleadings and witness statements
- Negotiating settlements and representing clients in court when necessary
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the successful outcome of cases
- Keeping up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- Qualified or Non Qualified Lawyer with a minimum of 1 year experience in Personal Injury Litigation – preferably in defendant EL/PL, but will consider someone from a claimant background
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and case law
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
