The Opportunity
You will support a portfolio of clients, becoming a trusted advisor while continuing to develop your own expertise. Full-time or part-time considered. Flexible hours (ideally across five days). Hybrid working with regular attendance at our Essex and Hertfordshire offices.
What you'll be doing
- Providing practical HR advice across the employee lifecycle.
- Supporting employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, capability and absence.
- Drafting contracts, policies, letters and HR documentation.
- Undertaking HR audits and recommending improvements.
- Supporting organisational change, engagement and culture projects.
- Building long-term relationships with clients.
- Keeping up to date with employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Working alongside senior consultants to deliver exceptional client service.
About you
- CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards it).
- Previous HR advisory/consultant experience, providing HR advice on a broad range of people matters.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commercially minded with a practical approach to problem-solving.
- Organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities.
- Genuinely passionate about helping people and businesses succeed.
