UNSW College is seeking a commercially minded and analytically driven Marketing Intelligence Specialist to join our Future Students Marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a marketing analytics professional who enjoys turning data into actionable insights that improve campaign performance, student engagement, and strategic decision-making.
Working closely with Performance Marketing, Brand & Content, Digital Experience, and Data Insights teams, you’ll play a key role in strengthening a data-driven marketing culture and facilitating research projects for the marketing team while supporting major transformation initiatives across CRM, CDP, and digital experience platforms.

About the Role
As the Marketing Intelligence Specialist, you will:
- Develop and maintain marketing performance dashboards across digital channels, website activity, lead funnels, and content engagement.
- Analyse campaign and audience data to generate actionable insights and optimisation recommendations.
- Partner with Marketing teams to support evidence-based decision-making and strategic planning.
- Serve as the Data Steward for the Future Students portfolio, ensuring data quality, integrity, and governance.
- Collaborate with the Finance Data Insights team to align reporting standards and methodologies across the organisation.
- Contribute to CRM, CDP, and DXP implementation projects by ensuring marketing data requirements are defined and supported.
- Conduct competitor analysis, market scans, and research activities to support marketing and product strategy.
- Coordinate with external research agencies and UNSW MDX Insights teams on research initiatives.
- Facilitate research projects for the marketing team.
- Help build a strong data driven culture through documentation, process improvement, and capability uplift initiatives.
About You
You are curious, commercially aware, and passionate about using data to improve marketing performance and customer experiences.
- Experience in marketing analytics, performance reporting, or insights-focused roles.
- Strong proficiency with analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Power BI, and Google Tag Manager.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for a range of stakeholders.
- Experience managing data quality, governance, or stewardship responsibilities.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Highly regarded
- Experience with CRM, CDP, or DXP platforms such as Salesforce, Segment, or Adobe Experience Platform.
- Knowledge of higher education or international student markets.
- Experience coordinating research agencies or market research activities.
- Familiarity with lead funnel management and campaign tracking frameworks.
