Overview

Kurtarra Cape Joint Venture (KCU) is a fully incorporated joint venture between Kurtarra and Cape Dunstans. It was established in 2015 to provide innovative solutions to the resources industry whilst engaging with Indigenous and Traditional Owners across the remote and regional communities of Western Australia. KCU is registered with Supply Nation and qualifies as a Pilbara Aboriginal Business. The company is committed to Indigenous engagement. Working with Traditional Owner groups, KCU provides employment opportunities through training and development, procurement and subcontracting.

Due to several new projects within the business we are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our dynamic team to lead our long term project within the dewatering sector. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping strategy, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring high-quality outcomes delivered on time and within budget.

You will work closely with the Senior Project Manager, stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to ensure project deliverables are met efficiently and within budget.

The responsibilities and duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Take over management of an ongoing project and ensure smooth continuation.
  • Plan, monitor, and control project activities to meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, stakeholders, and external vendors.
  • Track project progress and prepare regular status reports.
  • Identify risks or issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Ensure quality standards and project requirements are maintained.
  • Manage project documentation, schedules, and resources.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering complex projects.
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • Experience managing budgets and timelines.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, P6 etc.).
