Overview of Role

Cape Managed Services is the global managed service department responsible for expert business affairs, production support and consultancy for agencies, production companies and advertisers worldwide. The Business Affairs Executive supports the management of the legal, financial, and administrative aspects of advertising campaigns. The successful candidate would be allocated key accounts and would be expected to support the other department members with their activity.

Responsibilities and Key Tasks

  • Interpreting complex media plans and plan production timings across multiple markets
  • Briefing producers on formats, requirements, market information whilst alerting them to potential production issues
  • Managing clearances across CTV, cinema and audio from script stage to final for domestic and cross border mandatory clearance bodies
  • Issuing complex rotation instructions involving client, media agency liaison and time bands and different weightings
  • Organising delivery of assets to broadcasters and publishers ensuring our commitment to accessible advertising is adhered to
  • Managing digital activity to media agencies and publishers
  • Applying for child licences
  • Quoting on upcoming client activity and reconciliation of jobs

Experience Required

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Affairs within the advertising industry
  • Experience of Caria and recent industry changes
  • Working knowledge of Clearcast clearance essential. ARPP, ClearAds, Autocontrol would be an advantage
  • Good knowledge of BCAP code
  • Previous experience of managing the delivery of CTV campaigns
  • Good working knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
  • Experience working different in-house systems and platforms
  • Customer service or account management experience
