Salary: up to £60,000 DOE

Experience Required: 8+ PQE - Grade A

Location: East Midlands (Nottingham area – multiple offices available)

I’m working with a well-established claimant law firm in the East Midlands that is looking to appoint a Senior Personal Injury Solicitor as part of its continued growth. This is a quality-focused role within a stable and well-resourced department, offering sensible caseloads and long-term progression. The firm is not a volume practice, has no links to claims management companies, and does not handle low-value OIC RTA claims. As a result, solicitors are able to focus on properly run, litigated PI work with an emphasis on client care and outcomes rather than numbers.

The Role

  • Handle a caseload of litigated personal injury matters, including EL/PL/OL and RTA
  • Manage cases efficiently from instruction through to conclusion
  • Support the wider team and contribute to the continued development of the PI department
  • Assist with the generation of new work through excellent client service and local reputation

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Solicitor with strong experience in claimant personal injury
  • Comfortable handling litigated PI matters independently
  • Solid technical knowledge across personal injury claims
  • Organised, IT-literate and self-sufficient in managing files
  • Commercially aware with a client-focused approach

What’s on Offer

  • Competitive salary up to £60,000, depending on experience
  • Hybrid and flexible working (3 days office/2 days home working)
  • Choice of working from multiple offices across the East Midlands
  • Sensible caseloads
  • Supportive department with secretarial and team support
  • Clear opportunity for progression within a stable, growing firm
  • Friendly, professional and collaborative working culture
