Healthcare and Education Regulatory Associate
Manchester | Hybrid working | Β£70,000-Β£92,000
Regulatory advice has most value when a client can act on it. This Manchester role offers the chance to work closely with healthcare, social care and education organisations on the issues affecting how their services operate.
I'm recruiting for a recognised regulatory practice seeking an Associate with around three to five years' PQE. The work spans compliance advice and contentious matters, including regulator investigations, professional discipline, safeguarding and challenges arising from inspections or registration decisions.
You will also have exposure to inquests, public inquiries and proceedings in settings such as the Court of Protection, tribunals and judicial review. The role offers variety across individual cases and broader organisational issues, rather than a single repeat caseload.
The attraction is the opportunity to develop as an adviser as well as a litigator: understanding what a regulated organisation needs to do, assessing its options and giving clear recommendations. You will join a team recognised for this work and have the opportunity to build relationships with clients in sectors where specialist knowledge matters.
Relevant regulatory or professional discipline experience will be particularly useful, together with sound drafting and client skills. The package includes a bonus scheme and private healthcare, with hybrid working from Manchester. Speak with me confidentially about the team and whether your existing practice provides the right grounding.
