Location - Glasgow - Hybrid working 2/3 days in office. Please note we are prioritising applicants based in Scotland or who are able to relocate to Glasgow.

Role Description: The role is to provide support to our Investment Banking client. Working closely with the front office, you will be involved in data reconciliation, interfacing with Operations onboarding teams as well as various other trade support and administrative functions. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Working with Middle Office to resolve booking issues and amendments;
  • Cash and Stock reconciliation investigation and reporting to Control and Regulatory Reporting departments;
  • Working closely with internal departments to improve efficiency within operations;
  • Settlement exceptions processing via internal settlement system;
  • Close working with NY Settlements and Middle Office Teams on inter-entity Settlements business;
  • Processing pair off and partial pair off opportunities daily and MIS Collation, looking at cancellation and volumes and root causes;
  • Proactively engage and develop relationships with Trading and Operations teams who are stakeholders in daily processes;
  • Be part of the resolution of complex outstanding items, business issues and rectify anomalies;
  • Maintain technical capability for the job, keeping abreast of market and industry developments.
