The Role: We are looking for Security Architects to lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable solutions for some of the world’s leading financial institutions. You’ll play a critical role in shaping security strategy, driving architectural decisions, and embedding best practices across cloud and hybrid environments. This is a hands‑on leadership role with opportunities to mentor others and influence major change initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop enterprise security architecture strategies aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
- Lead design of secure systems, networks, and applications across on‑premise, cloud, and hybrid setups.
- Conduct threat modelling, risk assessments, and define remediation strategies.
- Guide DevSecOps adoption by embedding security tools and controls in CI/CD pipelines.
- Champion security awareness and mentor teams across engineering, architecture, and delivery.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong experience designing and implementing secure architectures in cloud and hybrid environments.
- Deep knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, TOGAF, SABSA).
- Expertise in IAM, endpoint protection, application and network security.
- Strong communicator, able to translate complex security concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Proven leadership and collaboration skills in multidisciplinary environments.
Bonus Points For:
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, TOGAF, or AWS Certified Security.
- Hands‑on experience with security tooling (e.g., SIEM, firewalls, IAM solutions).
