The Role
Reporting to the Capco Chief Administrative Officer, the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) is responsible for the leadership, development, and oversight of information and cyber security across the firm. This role shapes and owns Capco’s information security strategy, policy framework, and priorities, working closely with Capco leadership and Wipro Group colleagues to ensure alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
You will collaborate with the Board, IT, Enterprise Risk, presales, and delivery teams to ensure that Capco’s propositions, solutions, and services meet Group, Capco, and client security standards while supporting sustainable business growth.
What You’ll Do
- Shape and lead Capco’s information and cyber security strategy, policies, and continuous improvement programmes
- Partner with Wipro Group information security teams to ensure alignment with Group standards while accommodating Capco business needs
- Establish and oversee information and cyber risk assessment frameworks, including reporting to senior leadership and the Board
- Lead security input into presales activity, major bids, client engagements, audits, and assurance activities
- Oversee security incident reporting, investigation, response, supplier compliance, and the information security budget
What We’re Looking For
- Experience operating at senior executive or board level within complex, multi-site professional services or IT outsourcing environments
- Strong background in information security leadership, ideally within financial services or a comparable regulated sector
- Proven ability to engage, influence, and build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Deep knowledge of security, network, and computing technologies, regulatory requirements, and audit expectations
- Demonstrable experience defining strategy and leading teams to deliver measurable outcomes
Bonus Points For
- Experience leading or overseeing a Security Operations Centre using SIEM technologies
- Hands-on experience with security frameworks such as ISO27001, SSAE 18, or NIST
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, GSEC, or equivalent
- Experience reviewing and advising on client contractual security requirements across the engagement lifecycle
- Background contributing security thought leadership to business development or market-facing initiatives
