Role Overview
You will play a pivotal role in the success of some of our clientsâ most complex and high-profile transformation programmes through your industry insight and expertise in enterprise and solution architecture. You will move seamlessly between handsâon solution design, working closely with engineers, and articulating compelling enterprise visions to senior stakeholders, influencing key decisions and business outcomes.
You will oversee all aspects of architecture across business, data, application, and technology domains while leading highâperforming teams in fastâpaced projects and fostering junior talent. You will also strengthen our Technology and Engineering Practice through community leadership, and drive commercial value for Capco through delivery excellence and by leading business development initiatives.
Required Experience
To succeed in this role, you should have proven experience in:
- Shaping enterprise technology strategy, roadmaps, and governance through leading enterprise architecture initiatives.
- Designing complex, scalable, and resilient solution architectures in both legacy environments and at least one cloud provider (i.e. AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
- Domain expertise in financial services or other regulated sectors with strong compliance, risk, and security considerations.
- Applying modern, distributed architecture patterns (e.g. microservices, eventâdriven, containerised, serverless, and zeroâtrust architectures).
- Building trusted relationships with senior leadership and influencing key decisions.
- Managing crossâfunctional technical teams, promoting delivery excellence and continuous learning.
- Working in agile delivery models with modern delivery practices (e.g., SAFe and DevOps).
- Implementing recognised architecture frameworks and methodologies (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman, DomainâDriven Design, or NIST).
While not mandatory, experience in the following areas is beneficial:
- Senior or managerialâlevel consulting experience.
- Leading preâsales, proposals, or bid activities, including commercial ownership.
- Designing greenfield architectures and new ventures in cloudâfirst enterprises.
- Establishing or maturing enterprise architecture functions within agile delivery contexts.
- Awareness of emerging technologies, including generative or agentic AI.
- Certifications in relevant technologies, disciplines, or frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, or AWS).
