The Role
We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong Wealth & Asset Management domain experience to support wealth platform and operational uplift initiatives. You will play a key role in translating business needs into structured requirements across platform integration and advisory or servicing transformation programmes. Working within Agile delivery environments, you will collaborate with stakeholders across front office, operations and technology teams to ensure seamless platform integration and operational enhancement.
As AI continues to reshape financial services, you'll be expected to embrace AI-enabled ways of working, using approved AI and automation tools to enhance productivity, accelerate analysis, improve delivery quality and support better client outcomes, while always applying human judgement and responsible AI practices. You'll also help identify opportunities to embed AI-enabled capabilities into future operating models where appropriate, supporting innovation while maintaining robust governance and oversight.
What You’ll Do
- Gather, document and refine business and data requirements across wealth platform and operations transformation initiatives, using approved AI-enabled tools where appropriate to accelerate analysis and improve quality.
- Create and manage user stories and product backlogs, supporting sprint ceremonies within Agile environments while leveraging AI to enhance documentation and delivery efficiency.
- Map current and target operating models (TOM), including onboarding, suitability and servicing journeys within Private Banking and Wealth Management, identifying opportunities for AI-enabled process optimisation where appropriate.
- Define integration and data requirements to support platform interoperability and system change, using AI to support analysis while maintaining appropriate human review and governance.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Wealth Management (preferred) or Asset Management.
- Strong experience in Agile delivery, including backlog refinement and sprint collaboration.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across business and technology teams.
Bonus Points For
- Exposure to wealth platforms such as Avaloq, Temenos or Aladdin (configuration experience not required).
- Experience supporting wealth platform integration or transformation programmes.
- Professional certifications such as BCS Business Analysis or CISI.
- Experience supporting AI transformation initiatives or embedding AI capabilities (including Generative AI, Agentic AI or intelligent automation) within wealth management or financial services environments.
