We are looking for DevOps transformation advisors who combine industry and consulting experience in large DevOps transformations, know what advanced DevOps on an enterprise level looks like, and are passionate about supporting organizations transform. We do not expect you to be a hands-on DevOps engineer; but you must definitely be a strong technologist, who has practical experience with establishing technological capabilities to foster a DevOps adoption. This role is of multidimensional nature. You will spend some of your time on DevOps client business development activities, some more will go on our internal DevOps practise development, while you will also have to lead DevOps engagements on our client’s side. You will be working on projects ranging from Tier1 banking applications that are used daily by millions of people, to greenfield start up projects developing the financial services apps of tomorrow. Skills & Expertise Mandatory Experience: Strong conceptual and capability awareness of technologies that are used in DevOps transformations such as; CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, cloud native technologies, security tools, quality engineering tools and more Experience with cloud migration projects towards any of the of the most well used public cloud providers; Azure, AWS or GCP Expertise on several DevOps concepts from a contextual and practical implementation perspective, such as; Continuous delivery, developer experience, compliance as code, cloud native, value stream management, observability, site reliability engineering, microservices architecture and quality engineering Several years of leadership experience either from; a Head position in the industry, a programme manager role, a consulting practise lead role, as a principal engineer/architect or a combination. You have implemented DevOps at scale, in at least one large organization. Excellent communication and presentation skills. You should need no more than 15 min to impress our clients and answer to their “exam questions”. Strong senior stakeholder management skills; you should be able to act from an engineer to a director level. Highly Desirable Experience: Knowledge of financial services products, applications, business flows and the regulatory environments, will be considered an asset; but it is not a prerequisite Experience on co-leading the evolution of a tech management consulting practise.
