Support critical compliance activities at the heart of a global financial institution
The Role
We are seeking an Associate to join the Central Compliance team, supporting core compliance activities within a dynamic investment banking environment. This is an opportunity to build expertise in a high‑impact control function, working across multiple regions and regulatory frameworks while contributing to the integrity and governance of the organisation.
What You’ll Do
- Undertake compliance monitoring and reviews across key areas including conduct, inside information, and desk‑based assessments
- Support and lead internal investigations into potential misconduct, maintaining objectivity and confidentiality
- Partner with senior compliance leadership across EMEA and Asia to support registrations, certifications, and training activities
- Manage processes relating to Outside Business Activities (OBAs), personal account dealing, and employee trading
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years’ experience in financial services within compliance, risk, operations, or a related control function
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver accurate work in a regulated environment
- Effective time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- A proactive and inquisitive approach, with the confidence to identify improvement opportunities
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across varying levels of seniority
Bonus Points For
- Experience supporting compliance activities within investment banking or capital markets
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements across EMEA or global jurisdictions
- Exposure to investigations or employee conduct‑related processes
- Knowledge of personal account dealing or employee trading frameworks
- Experience working in a fast‑paced, high‑control environment
