The Role
As an Automation Business Analyst at Capco, you will work at the intersection of business, technology, and operations within Capital Markets. You'll partner with clients to identify automation opportunities, optimise processes, and support the delivery of scalable solutions that enhance efficiency, control, and customer outcomes. This is a hybrid role based in Glasgow, combining on-site collaboration with flexible remote working.
What You'll Do
- Partner with stakeholders across Front Office, Operations, Risk, and Technology to identify and prioritise automation opportunities
- Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements for automation initiatives (RPA, workflow, AI-enabled solutions)
- Map and assess current-state and future-state processes, identifying efficiencies and control improvements
- Support solution design, testing, and implementation, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical delivery
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions, driving clarity, alignment, and measurable outcomes
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a Business Analyst delivering automation or process optimisation initiatives within Capital Markets
- Strong understanding of trade lifecycle processes, regulatory considerations, and operational controls
- Proven ability to gather and translate complex business requirements into clear documentation and user stories
- Experience working with RPA or workflow tools (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, Power Automate) or similar platforms
- Confident communicator with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and levels of seniority
Bonus Points For
- Experience supporting large-scale transformation programmes within Investment Banking or Markets businesses
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and tooling (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
- Exposure to AI-enabled automation or data analytics initiatives
