The Role
Join Capco’s Data Strategy & Advisory team as a Data Management Consultant. You’ll support the design, implementation, and embedment of data management capabilities that underpin critical decision-making for global financial institutions. From policies to tooling, your work will enable the delivery of fit-for-purpose data in complex transformation environments.
What You’ll Do
- Support development of data management frameworks including policies, standards and procedures
- Deliver data governance practices: metadata cataloguing, lineage, stewardship and data quality monitoring
- Deploy and configure data tooling (e.g. Collibra, Solidatus, Ataccama) based on business needs
- Facilitate solution design and rollout of new data management platforms
- Contribute to thought leadership, internal methodologies and data capability building
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Management or Data Analytics
- Strong knowledge of data management methodologies (e.g., DAMA DMBOK, DCAM, CDMC)
- Experience implementing or enhancing metadata, DQ or lineage processes
- Hands-on experience with data tooling (e.g. Talend, Collibra, Ataccama)
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and documentation skills
Bonus Points For
- Consulting experience or a change role within a Financial Services Chief Data Office
- Practical experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
- Familiarity with industry regulations such as GDPR, BCBS-239, or Consumer Duty
- Formal certification in data governance or data management
- Experience managing small teams and projects
