We are looking for Non-Financial Risk Specialists to fill a variety of Project/Programme Management or Business Analyst roles within major Financial Institutions. As a Risk SME, you will be expected to bring a clear understanding of the Operational Risk landscape to your role and work closely with stakeholders to drive good practice through risk transformation, advisory and implementation.
You will be required to deliver clear and concise Client requirements and manage Client relationships to achieve outcomes. You should be comfortable defining and documenting business and risk processes and controls, assessing risk frameworks, making and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders and ensuring regulatory compliance through the use of sound risk management tools and techniques.
In your Client-facing role, you will be an ambassador for Capco and are expected to help drive the continued growth of our Risk Practice by identifying future opportunities to expand our Risk footprint across the industry.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Experience in Enterprise Risk Management or Operational Risk, ideally within Financial Services
- Ability to build credible trusted advisor relationships with key client stakeholders at all levels
- A clear understanding of key risk regulations and regulatory trends within Financial Services
- Excellent communication skills
- Project management or change management experience
- A good understanding of the concept of end to end process and the ability to document and analyse processes and controls, identify weaknesses and propose enhancements
- Strong attention to detail, with an ability to work at pace whilst maintaining accuracy
- Ability to analyse a process or framework, identify opportunities for improvement (e.g. risk reduction, control effectiveness, process efficiency)
- Risk and control testing, assurance or remediation experience
- Ability to draft and review risk and associated policies and procedures
- Capability to run workshops and lead discussions with senior stakeholders
