Help financial services organisations turn AI opportunities into scalable business solutions.

The Role

Join Capco’s Business Consulting practice as an AI Business Analyst, supporting Insurance clients in shaping and delivering AI‑enabled transformation initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of Insurance consulting, business analysis, and AI‑enabled change, helping clients translate emerging AI capabilities into practical business outcomes within complex and regulated environments. You will work closely with Insurance clients to understand business challenges, identify transformation opportunities, define AI‑enabled requirements, and support the delivery of strategic and operational change initiatives. The role requires a strong combination of consulting capability, stakeholder management, business analysis, and transformation delivery experience, alongside an understanding of how AI technologies can improve operational efficiency, customer experience, decision‑making, and employee productivity across Insurance organisations. As part of Capco’s Insurance consulting practice, you will support clients through the full transformation lifecycle, from shaping AI use cases and assessing business readiness through to delivery support, adoption, governance, and operational embedding. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, architects, data specialists, and AI engineers to ensure AI‑enabled solutions are commercially viable, operationally effective, and aligned to regulatory expectations.

What You’ll Do

  • Work with stakeholders across Insurance organisations to identify, analyse, and define AI‑enabled transformation opportunities across claims, underwriting, customer servicing, policy administration, distribution, and operational support functions.
  • Facilitate client workshops, gather and document business requirements, map current and target‑state processes, and help translate Insurance business challenges into practical AI‑enabled solutions and delivery outcomes.
  • Support large‑scale Insurance transformation programmes by contributing to Agile and hybrid delivery activities including backlog refinement, user stories, acceptance criteria, stakeholder management, reporting, and delivery governance.
  • Partner with architects, AI engineers, product owners, and delivery teams to support the design, testing, validation, and rollout of AI‑enabled capabilities within complex and regulated Insurance environments.
  • Support insurers in adopting AI responsibly by contributing to governance, operational risk, regulatory alignment, controls, reporting, change management, training, and business readiness activities.
  • Contribute to broader Insurance consulting engagements through process optimisation, operating model improvement, AI opportunity assessment, and transformation delivery support.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working as a Business Analyst, Consultant, or transformation professional within the Insurance sector, either in a consultancy or insurer environment.
  • Strong understanding of Insurance operations and processes across areas such as Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, London Market, Specialty, or Life & Pensions.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, requirements gathering, and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical AI concepts into clear business‑focused outcomes.
  • Understanding of AI technologies and the wider AI ecosystem, including Generative AI, GPT, Copilot, NLP, intelligent automation, workflow orchestration, or agentic AI solutions.
  • Experience supporting Insurance transformation programmes, digital change initiatives, or AI/data‑enabled delivery projects, with exposure to Agile delivery methodologies and business process analysis.
  • Analytical and adaptable mindset, with an understanding of governance, operational risk, regulatory considerations, and responsible AI adoption within Insurance organisations.

Bonus Points For

  • Previous consulting or advisory experience within a professional services environment.
  • Experience supporting AI product delivery, AI commercialisation, workflow automation, or agentic AI initiatives.
  • Familiarity with SDLC, DevOps, MLOps, enterprise AI platforms, or AI governance frameworks.
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, presentations, or management information to support AI performance tracking and business decision‑making.
  • Exposure to tools and platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Power Automate, or enterprise AI ecosystems.

Why Join Capco

  • Deliver high‑impact AI transformation programmes for leading financial services organisations.
  • Work in a collaborative, flat, and entrepreneurial consulting culture.
  • Access continuous learning, training, and industry certifications.
  • Be part of a team shaping the future of AI‑enabled business transformation.
  • Help organisations unlock the value of AI through practical, people‑focused change and innovation.
