We’re building the Probabilistic Safety Assessment (PSA) capability for a first-of-a-kind Small Modular Reactor (SMR) programme. This is not an operational or compliance-only role. This is design-integrated, analysis-led engineering — influencing decisions while the plant architecture is still being defined.

What we’re looking for:

  • PSA Engineers (Engineer II and Senior / Engineer III level) with experience in:
  • Development and application of PSA models
  • Fault tree and event tree analysis and quantification
  • Interfacing PSA with deterministic safety analysis (DSA) and design teams
  • Nuclear, energy, oil & gas, or other safety-critical industries
  • Engineers comfortable exercising technical judgement and ownership

Engineer II: typically 3–7 years’ experience

Engineer III: typically 8+ years’ experience with technical leadership responsibility

Why this is interesting:

  • Work on a FOAK SMR programme with long-term global relevance
  • PSA embedded directly into design and licensing decisions
  • High technical responsibility and visibility
  • Based in the South-West (UK) with flexibility
  • Join while the safety case and models are still being shaped — not just maintained
