Take your HVAC engineering into the world of nuclear-grade SMR design.
We’re supporting a confidential organisation at the forefront of advanced nuclear technologies as it develops a next-generation Small Modular Reactor programme in the US.
This role focuses on the design of HVAC systems across a full nuclear power plant, working within a highly integrated engineering team and alongside licensing, safety, and vendor partners. You’ll contribute to calculations, specifications, contractor oversight, and system integration in a regulated, technically demanding environment.
You may already be designing HVAC systems for energy, industrial, or large-scale facilities — but feel ready for deeper technical ownership, longer project horizons, and work where design decisions genuinely matter. This opportunity offers exposure to nuclear-grade standards, SMR development, and full lifecycle plant design, supported by experienced engineers around you.
If you bring strong HVAC fundamentals and are curious about growing into nuclear or SMR applications, we’d be glad to have a conversation — even if you’re still building that exposure.
Location: Bristol, United Kingdom (preferred)
Candidates must have UK right to work for the Bristol role.
