The Role – Support Worker

As a Support Worker, you’ll help people with complex disabilities:

  • Live independently in their own homes or our small, adapted residential settings.
  • Access the community and enjoy activities such as shopping trips, cinema visits, football matches, themed days, and more.
  • Receive personal care, support with mobility, medication, dressing, house work, laundry and mealtimes.
  • Build confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging.

  • Fully funded SVQ qualification (yours for life)
  • Permanent contracts: 16, 19, 24, 26, 31.5, or 36 hrs/week
  • Rolling rotas so you always know your shifts
  • 32 days’ holiday (increasing to 37 with service)

About You

  • Experience preferred but not essential — full training provided.
  • Drivers preferred but non-drivers welcome (outing costs covered).

Key Info

  • Various shift patterns available: dayshifts (typically 7am-2.45pm), backshifts (typically 2pm-10pm), nightshifts (typically 10pm-7am), over 7 days on rolling rotas with weekend only or relief/bank positions available too, there is something for everyone!
  • This role does not qualify for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.
