Location: Renfrewshire (PA4) & Glasgow (G31 & G41)

Salary: £13.45 per hour (£28,051.32 per annum) plus £14.12 night shift premium

Job Type: Permanent - Full-Time, Part-Time and Relief opportunities available

Hours: 20 - 40 hours per week, including rotational shifts covering evenings, nights and weekends

We are looking for caring, committed and enthusiastic Community Living Assistants/Support Workers to join our West of Scotland Housing Support and Care at Home Services, supporting adults with disabilities across Renfrewshire & Glasgow (South & East).

As a Community Living Assistant/Support Worker, you will provide tailored support that enables individuals to live independently within their own homes and communities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting adults with a range of disabilities to achieve their personal goals
  • Assisting with personal care, including washing, dressing and grooming
  • Administering and supporting medication routines
  • Supporting communication, meal preparation and daily living activities
  • Helping individuals maintain their homes and tenancies
  • Accompanying people to appointments, educational opportunities, social activities and community events
  • Encouraging participation in hobbies, leisure activities and interests
  • Providing one-to-one or two-to-one support, depending on individual needs

Every day is different, but your focus will always be on promoting dignity, choice, independence and inclusion.

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Have a caring, compassionate and person-centred approach
  • Are flexible and able to work a rotational shift pattern, including evenings, weekends and nights
  • Have experience supporting adults with disabilities in community, care or support settings
  • Hold a full UK manual driving licence and have access to their own vehicle (essential for this community-based role)

Mileage expenses are paid for work-related travel.
