We love what we do here and are looking to recruit a team of Relief/Bank Support Workers for our Oakfield (daycentre) service based in Kelty.

The role – Support Worker

We support people with a variety of complex disabilities in our spacious, adapted house, daycentre setting. This intimate setting for a small group of adults offers; sensory, kitchen and craft spaces along with a wonderful garden for our customers to enjoy.

You will be supporting our customers on either one-to-one or group care; your day will include helping them with their personal care, dressing, medication, communication, mobility, mealtimes, daily transport and participating in their chosen activities such as; assistive technology and interactive sports sessions.

We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with a skill or passion to share such as sports, music or photography – if you love it, this will shine through to the people you support, giving them a taste of new experiences whilst learning new skills.

What you need to know

Hours: Relief/Bank – to cover staff holidays and service growth. (our services hours are Mon-Fri 9am-3pm, so you will need to have availability to cover this on bank basis)

Drivers preferred but not essential , whilst we welcome applications from drivers, we can consider non drivers. If you do need to go out and about with our customer for that dinner and cinema trip, your costs are covered.
