Hello I'm Catherine and I am 78 years young.
I live with my son about two miles outside Lockerbie, so you'll need a driving license as we're not on a bus route.
I have dementia and would love a Personal Assistant to visit for around an hour each day while my son is at work - just to share a cup of tea, a chat and provide a little personal care if needed.
My son works shifts, but his rota is planned eight weeks ahead, so you'll always have plenty of notice.
I'm looking for someone who is kind, flexible and reliable.
This role could be perfect for a parent with school age children or someone who is semi-retired and enjoys making a real difference.
You will also need to like animals as we have dogs.
The pay is negotiable for the right person and will be discussed further at interview. Over time the hours could be raised depending on my support needs.

If you are successful you will need to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK.
You will be asked to provide the names of two referees.
You will need to be a member of protecting Vulnerable Group (PVG) scheme. If you are not already a member, I can advise you on how to apply.
