Overview
Service: 24/7 Supported Living (Housing Support & Care at Home)
Location: Currie, Edinburgh
Hours: Full-time / Part-time / Relief
Shift Pattern: Day, backshift, and sleepover options (24/7 rota)
Salary: £23,650.70 pa/fte (£12.60 per hour waking hours and £12.21 per hour sleepover)

What You’ll Do:
- Provide person-centred support based on individual support plans
- Assist with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and budgeting
- Support individuals to manage and maintain their home
- Provide personal care, medication support, and health-related tasks (training provided)
- Encourage independence, confidence and life skills development
- Support individuals to access community activities, appointments and social opportunities
- Maintain clear, accurate and confidential records
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and external professionals
- Respond to emergencies, including during night shifts and lone-working situations
What We’re Looking For:
- A caring, patient and respectful approach
- Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
- Reliability and commitment to providing safe, high-quality support
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work within a 24/7 shift rota
- Basic IT skills (for digital care recording)
- A willingness to work towards SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (if not already held)
- Driving licence (desirable but not essential for this role)
- Experience is welcome but not essential—full training will be provided. Your values and attitude are what matter most.
Additional Requirements:
- PVG membership (or willingness to join)
- SSSC registration (or ability to register within required timeframe)
- Right to work in the UK
