Would you like to contribute to the work of Capability Scotland? It's an exciting time at Capability Scotland. There's a lot going on and we're looking for new Trustees to help us deliver our ambitious plans for growth and transformation. This year is our 80th anniversary. We are so proud of everything we have achieved but we can't rest on our laurels. There is much still to do if we are to achieve our vision of a more inclusive Scotland where everyone has the opportunity to have their voice heard, to contribute to society and to fulfil their potential.

To help us continue to be successful, we are looking to appoint new Trustees to complement the skills of our existing Board, to drive change and to help shape our strategic direction. The Board's purpose is also to ensure the highest standards of governance and to provide oversight, scrutiny and constructive support to senior management.

We are looking for a diverse range of people with an interest in what we are trying to achieve and who want to be part of a values-led charity. We would love to see applications from people with lived experience of disability. We would also welcome applications from candidates with expertise in social care/social work, fundraising, marketing, education and technology as we explore the use of assistive technology and AI in the delivery of person-centred care.
