I am a lady in my late 60\’s who has several long-term health conditions and lives near the centre of Langholm. My husband is my main carer but, due to his deteriorating health, requires increasing support to look after me.

Areas of work would include cleaning, laundry, checking that I am ok and making me hot drinks/light lunch. Help is most needed each weekday from 9am to 1pm. Weekly support will be provided by 3 people, one working 12 hours, one 8 hours, and a relief post (covering holidays, sickness, etc). Experience isn\’t essential for any of these posts. The ideal candidates would be reliable, caring, patient, flexible, able to work on their own initiative and understand the need for confidentiality.

Due to our health, I would prefer candidates who have had Covid vaccinations and are willing to get boosters and take regular lateral flow (Covid) tests.

Females only need apply as permitted under schedule 9, part 1 of the Equality Act 2010
