Are you friendly and outgoing? If you are, I would like to hear from you. Please note Capability Scotland isn’t the employer; we are only acting on behalf of our client. The client will be the employer.

I am a friendly 49-year-old man who lives in the town centre of Stranraer. I have recently had a stroke, and I am looking to recruit a personal assistant to help with my medications through my gastronomy peg. We can offer free training on how to do this.

The hours for this role are 7 days per week, from around 10 am for one and a half hours to take my medications and help with any household tasks I may need assistance with. Then another visit again around teatime for 45 minutes to take my next peg feed. Times can be discussed if you are interested. The total hours per week are 15 hours and 45 minutes, and this would suit either one or two people who are happy to job share.

A driving licence is not required as I live in the town centre, but a suitable PVG is required. The rate of pay is Β£12 per hour or Β£14.74 if you are self-employed, with paid annual leave of 5.6 weeks pro rata.

If this sounds good to you, I would love to hear from you. Please use Reference SCSS1017.
