Personal Assistant to help me be as independent as possible.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living tasks such as washing, dressing, breakfast and medication.
- Support into and out of morning club meetings (7:45 a.m.–9:45 a.m.) and evening rest (7:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.).
- Work every second weekend: two hours in the morning and one hour in the evening.
- Cover for holidays and sickness as required.
Schedule
- Wednesday morning: 7:45 a.m.–9:45 a.m.;
- Wednesday evening: 7:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.;
- Every second weekend: 2 hrs in the morning, 1 hr in the evening.
Qualifications
- Bubbly, reliable, honest, trustworthy, good sense of humour, conversational, and patient.
- At least one year of experience in adult social care or dementia care.
- Some moving and handling training (or training can be sourced).
- Valid driving licence (to travel 5 mi from Dumfries).
Legal & Practical Requirements
- Right to work in the UK.
- Member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme.
