Personal Assistant Wanted - Supporting a Fun, Active 10-Year-Old Boy.

I am a 10-year-old non-verbal autistic boy with ADHD and I’m looking for a kind and reliable Personal Assistant to support me and give my family some respite. I have a naso-gastric tube, and there will be some personal care involved (training can be provided).

About Me: I love swimming, being outdoors, and going to the park. Music makes me happy - any kind of music.

What I’m Looking For:

  • Someone patient, honest and flexible.
  • Experience with autism is helpful but not essential.
  • A full driving license is required as public transport isn’t reliable in my area.

Hours: 10 hours per week: ideally 5 hours on a Saturday and the other 5 hours spread across the week. Even if you can only do some hours I would love to hear from you.

If you’d like to make a real difference and enjoy fun activities, I’d love to hear from you.

If you are successful you will need to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK. You will be asked to provide the names of two referees. You will need to be a member of Protecting Vulnerable Group (PVG) scheme. If you are not already a member, I can advise you how to apply.
