Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join a respected automotive dealership, offering new & used vehicles, servicing, MOTs, repairs, and parts. You’ll play a key role in ensuring vehicles are safe, reliable, and maintained to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards
- Perform MOT tests in line with DVSA requirements (if certified)
- Deliver high-quality work and ensure accurate, first-time fixes
- Conduct vehicle health checks & video inspections to identify further service needs
- Update workshop management on job progress
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workshop environment
About You
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, MOT Tester, MOT Mechanic, or similar
- Recognised motor vehicle qualification (IMI, City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 or equivalent)
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- MOT certification (advantageous – extra salary incentive available)
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality service
