CAP Resourcing are delighted to be working with a highly regarded, long established property consultancy, seeking an experienced Ratings Surveyor to join their successful Business Rates team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well respected department with over 30 years’ experience advising owners and occupiers across the UK. The team has seen significant recent growth, including appointments to major public sector frameworks and advisory roles on large real estate portfolios. Their work focuses on delivering strategic business rates advice and managing appeals to help clients reduce liabilities and improve efficiency.
The Role
You will advise on predominantly commercial property across the South and South West, managing a varied caseload and client portfolio. Responsibilities include delivering client instructions, preparing and submitting Check, Challenge and Appeal cases, undertaking inspections and valuations, and representing clients in negotiations with the Valuation Office Agency and billing authorities. You will also play a key role in developing client relationships, supporting business development, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to wider team initiatives and thought leadership.
