Client Management Accountant

Office based in Gloucester | Competitive salary + benefits

We’re working with a growing accountancy practice who are expanding their advisory department and so are looking for a Client Management Accountant to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with clients, producing accurate management accounts, and providing meaningful financial insights that help shape business decisions. With a clear pathway for progression, the role also has the potential to evolve into delivering Fractional Finance Director services.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Preparing and presenting monthly and quarterly management accounts
  • Supporting clients with budgeting and forecasting
  • Providing analysis and commentary to aid decision making
  • Building strong client relationships, adding value through insight and accuracy
  • Using cloud accounting systems (Xero, QuickBooks) and reporting tools to deliver tailored financial reports
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and embrace digital solutions

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Strong financial analysis skills, with the ability to explain insights clearly to clients
  • Experience with Xero, QuickBooks, and reporting software
  • A proactive, solutions-driven approach
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
