An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced 2nd Line Desktop Support Analyst to join a well-established organisation in the construction and property services sector, based at their head office in Essex.
This is an ideal role for someone looking to join a stable and supportive IT team, working across a variety of technologies.
Responsibilities:-
Provide 2nd line support for hardware, software, and network issues, including Windows 10/11, Office 365, printers, and mobile devices

Act as an escalation point from the 1st line support team

Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, and mobile device problems

Administer Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange

Support remote access solutions and Microsoft 365 applications

Liaise with third-party vendors as required

Log and track all incidents and service requests accurately

Contribute to IT projects and system upgrades

Proven experience in a 2nd line IT support role, ideally within a multi-site environment

Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Windows OS, Office 365, Active Directory, and Exchange

Familiarity with remote access tools such as VPN and RDP

Knowledge of mobile device support (iOS, Android)

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
