We’re working with one of the UK’s leading building engineering consultancies, and they’re looking to grow their Fire Engineering team across multiple offices. This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to join a high-performing, collaborative group of fire safety experts working on some of the UK’s most innovative and high-profile projects, from sustainable timber buildings to complex mixed-use developments.

You’ll work alongside some of the best engineers in the industry, have access to cutting-edge technology and research, and be part of a culture that invests heavily in training, professional development, and chartership support.

The Opportunity

  • Designing and delivering fire strategies across a range of landmark projects.
  • Using advanced tools for smoke, heat, and structural fire modelling.
  • Collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and clients as part of multidisciplinary teams.
  • Mentoring junior colleagues and helping shape the next generation of fire engineers.
  • Getting involved in innovation, research, and industry-leading testing and modelling.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in fire engineering consultancy or a related discipline.
  • Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Building Services, Physics, Architecture, or Maths.
  • Strong technical knowledge of fire safety design principles and software analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Chartered status (or working towards it) for senior-level roles.
