The Opportunity
This senior technical interior architecture role contributes to workplace projects from early briefing and concept development through detailed design and on-site delivery, with particular emphasis on later-stage technical resolution. Working closely with interior designers and architects, you will help develop spatial planning and material strategies while delivering comprehensive technical drawing packages and specifications. You will lead coordination with consultants and contractors, resolve complex technical issues, and support the wider team in addressing technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
The Candidate
- Lead the technical design and delivery of workplace and commercial interior projects from concept through construction and handover.
- Work closely with interior designers and architects to translate design intent into coordinated, buildable solutions.
- Personally produce, review, and deliver detailed technical and tender drawing packages and specifications using AutoCAD (essential) to a high professional standard.
- Act as a technical lead within the studio, resolving complex design and construction issues and supporting the wider team on technical challenges.
- Support project coordination, client communication, and mentoring of junior team members, ensuring programme, budget, and buildability are maintained.
