The Studio
This established interior architecture and design practice is one we are consistently asked about and have worked closely with over a number of years. The studio is selective in how it grows its team and places real value on finding the right people, taking a considered and collaborative approach to recruitment as the practice continues to evolve.
Based in London, the studio is known for producing thoughtful, well-resolved environments through a measured and pragmatic design approach. There is a strong emphasis on quality, longevity, and how spaces function and feel in everyday use, with projects shaped by clear spatial thinking and careful attention to detail.
The practice works primarily within workplace environments, while also undertaking projects outside this core focus from time to time. Much of the work involves existing buildings, requiring a confident approach to refurbishment, adaptation, and working within live project constraints. The studio culture is grounded and collaborative, with designers trusted with responsibility and supported by experienced leadership. Team members are encouraged to take ownership of their work and contribute positively to both projects and the wider studio.
The Opportunity
This role offers the opportunity to take a project-leading position within the studio, supporting the design and delivery of interior architecture projects from early briefing through to completion on site. You will be responsible for managing projects on a day-to-day basis, coordinating information, maintaining programme, and ensuring design intent is carried through all stages of delivery.
Working as part of an integrated team of interior designers, interior architects, and architects, you will lead project meetings, coordinate consultants, and act as a key point of contact for clients. You will be involved in resourcing projects appropriately, working closely with budgets and fee parameters, and supporting the studio in pitching for new work. The role suits a confident project lead with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset β someone who can build strong client relationships, drive projects forward, and bring a positive, commercially aware attitude to both delivery and development opportunities.
The Candidate
+ Proven experience acting as a project lead on interior architecture projects, with responsibility for day-to-day coordination and delivery
+ Demonstrated ability to manage projects across all stages, from briefing and feasibility through detailed design, construction, and handover
+ Strong capability in spatial planning and design development, with the confidence to interpret briefs and contribute to well-resolved project outcomes
+ Experienced in leading project meetings, managing client relationships, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
+ Comfortable planning resources, monitoring budgets, and working within agreed fee and programme constraints
+ Confident contributing to pitches and proposals, with the ability to represent the studio clearly and positively to prospective clients
+ Able to support and guide junior designers, providing clear direction and day-to-day supervision as required
+ Commercially aware, proactive, and motivated, with a delivery-focused, can-do attitude
Well organised and resilient, able to manage multiple projects within a busy interior architecture studio.
