The Studio
This newly established interior design studio is already working on an impressive portfolio, including a hotel project in Los Angeles and several private residential schemes. Their work is elegant and characterful, drawing on a Provençal sensibility with a focus on warmth, texture, natural materials, and interiors that feel refined without being overworked. The studio’s approach is thoughtful and highly personal, creating spaces with a sense of ease, atmosphere, and permanence.
As the studio grows, they are looking for a talented middleweight interior designer with especially strong visual skills to join the team and help shape both the design process and the way ideas are communicated.
The Opportunity
This role would suit a middleweight interior designer who combines a strong design eye with the ability to produce high-quality visuals that bring schemes to life. Working closely with the wider team, you will support projects across concept, design development, and presentation stages, while playing a key role in creating compelling visual material for client meetings and internal design reviews. You will contribute to mood boards, spatial ideas, FF&E development, material palettes, and bespoke design elements, translating the studio’s soft, layered aesthetic into clear and beautifully resolved proposals. A major part of the role will be producing strong 3D visuals and rendered imagery, working from sketches, CAD plans, and design direction to communicate atmosphere, materiality, and detail with accuracy. This is a varied position within a growing studio, ideal for a designer who wants to remain firmly involved in interiors while bringing an additional visual strength that can elevate how projects are developed and presented.
The Candidate
- 3–5 years’ experience within a high-end residential or hospitality interior design studio
- Strong all-round interior design capability, with experience contributing to concept development, design presentations, FF&E, and material schemes
- Excellent visualisation skills, with the ability to produce high-quality, photorealistic interior imagery
- Confident interpreting and working from CAD drawings, plans, sketches, and mood boards
- Experience developing or visualising bespoke furniture, lighting, joinery, and architectural details
- AutoCAD skills would be beneficial
- Highly detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable managing deadlines across multiple projects
- Strong communicator, able to collaborate closely with designers and contribute clearly to the wider design process
The role is based in Mayfair, London, with the option to work from home on Fridays.
