The Studio has teams in London and New York, comprising an exceptional group of designers from across the world, blending architecture, interior design, and product design in a cohesive manner. The Opportunity

You will lead projects from concept through to installation, shaping thoughtful, highly resolved interiors with a clear creative direction. From early-stage concept development and FF&E sourcing through to layouts, presentations, and technical coordination, you will take ownership of both the creative and delivery aspects of a scheme. This role has a strong FF&E emphasis, responsible for developing and overseeing FF&E packages in detail, including specification, schedules, and documentation, while working closely with procurement agents to ensure alignment on budgets, timelines, and deliverables. You are expected to balance design intent with commercial realities, supporting value engineering where needed without compromising the integrity of the scheme.

Alongside the creative work, you will coordinate across consultants, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure all information is aligned through each stage. You will review shop drawings, manage samples and mock-ups, and attend site to oversee installation, maintaining quality and consistency from concept through to completion. You will also guide more junior designers, contributing to a collaborative studio environment where ideas are shared and developed collectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the FF&E vision and strategy across projects, ensuring a cohesive and considered design language.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of detailed FF&E presentations, schedules, and specification packages.
  • Manage supplier and vendor relationships, coordinating timelines, pricing, and production deliverables.
  • Review prototypes, samples, and mock-ups, ensuring alignment with design intent and build feasibility.
  • Maintain oversight of FF&E budgets, tracking costs and supporting value engineering where required.
  • Coordinate closely with procurement agents across ordering, tracking, and installation phases.
  • Attend site to review and oversee the installation of FF&E elements, ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure all design information is aligned.
  • Support and mentor junior team members, providing guidance on process, standards, and best practice.
