As part of the International Marketing Group, our Europe Marketing team is responsible for driving market-specific growth goals and comprehensive market strategies across Europe across a variety of functions - performance marketing, brand, events, partnerships, social, community engagement and other growth channels.
Job Description
As Canva scales, change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think thatâs all part of the fun. This overview provides a glimpse of the type of work youâll be involved in, which may evolve over time. At the moment, this role is focused on paving the way for partnerships to contribute to Europe Marketingâs goals, including MAU growth and positioning Canva as a tool for work.
- Building structure around our partnerships plans, including partner events, frameworks, and playbooks to ensure maximum impact and quality.
- Serving as the main point of contact in key partnership conversations, working closely with local Growth Marketing Managers to ensure local relevance.
- Managing partnership commercials, leading negotiations, and coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders like Finance and Sales.
- Aligning partnership activities with Canvaâs âTwo Step Planâ and seeking opportunities for partnerships to serve as a Force For Good.
- Focusing on a B2C audience while collaborating with Canvaâs B2B team to ensure partnerships align with regional strategic priorities for maximum impact.
What Weâre Looking For
- 10+ years of experience brokering partnerships and sponsoring across Europe, preferably in a startup or scale-up environment.
- A proven track record of successful commercial partnerships with brands that align with Canva.
- Experience working within the SME / Knowledge Worker & Consumer space (MLB/Enterprise experience is a plus).
- Enjoy designing commercial structures while maintaining brand synergy.
- Bonus: Experience designing Owned & Paid Event Sponsorships aligned with strategic marketing goals.
