London is one of our larger and more complex campuses outside Sydney HQ. It's grown fast, spans three properties, and sits at the heart of Canva's EMEA presence. We need someone who can truly own it, not just manage the basics.
As the Workplace Experience Lead, reporting to the EMEA Regional Lead, you’ll be the campus’s operational core. You'll lead hospitality, workplace operations, facilities management and strategy, and campus experience, while managing vendor relationships, building strong stakeholder partnerships, and making sure every Canvanauts' day feels as good as it should. It's a role with real accountability and real impact. The person who lands it will help shape what great looks like.

What you’ll do:
- Partner closely with food and beverage team including chefs, event support, cleaning, security and service providers to keep standards high across the whole campus.
- Set clear expectations for hospitality vendors, review performance regularly, and drive continuous improvement as well as cost efficiencies when needed.
- Make sure every hospitality experience reflects Canva's culture, values, and commitment to care and inclusion.
- Lead campus logistics across facilities management, front of house, event logistics, and day-to-day operational readiness in collaboration with the Regional Lead and Workplace Experience Specialist.
- Be the primary point of accountability for campus incidents, escalations, and real-time decisions.
- Build and maintain clear operational playbooks and documentation for both routine operations and exception handling.
- Partner with the Global real estate team, IT and Security to ensure continuity and manage risk.
- Own the end-to-end campus experience for Canvanauts and visitors. Keep it consistent, clear, and easy to navigate.
- Collaborate with Events, IT, Internal Comms, and Hospitality to make campus moments feel intentional and well-orchestrated.
- Use feedback, data, and observation to spot friction and keep improving what we offer.
- Design experiences that are inclusive, magical, and genuinely engaging.
- Ensure the London campus strongly aligns with for what good looks like across Canva globally.
- Work with finance and procurement to keep services financially sound and in Canva's best interests.
- Oversee workplace health and safety, including incident and near-miss reporting.
- Ensure adherence to Canva’s security processes.
- Act as the key site contact for safety-related matters.
- Lead contract management for facilities across three Canva acquired London properties in Hoxton.
- Manage a portfolio of service providers with strong governance, reviewing performance and renegotiating where needed.
- Oversee operational budgets and forecasting, ensuring spend is intentional and cost-effective.
- Drive sustainability initiatives to reduce environmental impact across campus operations.
