The buzzing Canva London campus features several buildings around beautiful leafy Hoxton Square in Shoreditch. While our global headquarters is in Sydney, Australia, London is our HQ for Europe, with all kinds of teams based here, plus event spaces to gather our team and communities. You'll get a warm welcome from our Vibe team at front of house, amazing home cooked food from our Head Chef, and a variety of workspaces to hang out with teammates or get solo work done. That said, we trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals, so you'll have a say in where and how you work.

Flourish is the world's leading data storytelling platform — since joining the Canva family in 2021, we've helped more than a million registered users turn raw data into beautiful, interactive graphics for newsrooms, corporations, NGOs, universities and government departments around the world. As an Account Executive on the Flourish team, you'll be the person building the relationships and closing the deals that bring data storytelling to more organisations. This will give you a flavour of what you'll be working on when you start, but as we grow, this will likely evolve. At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Building relationships with potential customers, understanding their needs, and shaping tailored Flourish solutions to match
  • Proactively prospecting and reaching out to target organisations — from newsrooms and government bodies to nonprofits and global brands — using high-touch outbound best practice
  • Preparing and delivering pitches and presentations, running a structured discovery process, and connecting customer challenges to Flourish's features
  • Negotiating contracts and working closely with Legal and Security to get deals across the line
  • Tracking every stage of your pipeline in our CRM, and handing over new customers to our Success team in great shape
  • Partnering with Marketing on events and campaigns that drive new business, and sharing customer feedback that helps shape the Flourish product roadmap

You're Probably a Match If:

  • You've got a few years of B2B sales experience, ideally managing a full sales cycle from prospecting through to close, with a track record of hitting or beating your targets
  • You're comfortable initiating conversations with senior stakeholders and can hold your own in a room with multiple decision-makers
  • You know how to turn a complex product into a simple, compelling story for the customer in front of you
  • You're organised and can juggle a pipeline of opportunities without letting the details slip
  • You're curious about data and storytelling, and excited to learn the ins and outs of a product like Flourish
  • You've got full UK work rights, and if you also speak French or German alongside English, that's a real advantage for this role

About the Team:

Flourish is a small but mighty team inside Canva's Sales & Success group, on a mission to empower the world to tell stories with data. Since 2018, Flourish users have produced more than 10 million graphics that have racked up over 20 billion views, and our customer list spans leading newsrooms, universities, NGOs and government departments globally. We're continuing to grow Flourish as a standalone product, while also working with Canva's product teams to bring native data visualisation features into Canva itself.

What's in It for You?

Canva has grown hugely over the last few years, but we're only just getting started. Here's a taste of what's on offer:

  • Inclusive parental leave policy that supports all parents & carers
  • An annual Vibe & Thrive allowance to support your wellbeing, social connection, office setup & more
  • Flexible leave options that empower you to be a force for good, take time to recharge and supports you personally
