About the team:
At Canva, our Public Sector Go-to-Market team partners with Government and Healthcare organisations to modernise how they communicate, collaborate, and create at scale. We help organisations unlock the full potential of Canva Enterprise, empowering teams across Communications, Marketing, Human Resources, and beyond to work more efficiently, strengthen their brands, and deliver greater impact. As public sector organisations accelerate digital transformation and embrace AI-powered solutions, our team plays a critical role in helping them move beyond fragmented tools and outdated workflows. We position Canva as a strategic enterprise platform that simplifies content creation, enables collaboration, and drives measurable value across the organisation.
About the role:
As a Government & Healthcare Account Executive on Canva’s Public Sector GTM team, you’ll drive new business growth across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). Based at our London campus, you’ll engage senior decision-makers, develop strategic relationships, and help organisations modernise how they create, communicate, and collaborate. You’ll own the full sales cycle, from identifying and landing new enterprise customers to expanding Canva’s adoption across departments, positioning Canva Enterprise as a strategic platform for digital transformation and AI-powered productivity.
What you’ll do:
- Own the full sales cycle: Lead complex enterprise sales engagements across Government and Healthcare organisations, from strategic prospecting and discovery through executive alignment, commercial negotiations, and close. Take accountability for delivering against quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Build and execute your territory strategy: Own the DACH market with an entrepreneurial mindset, developing a focused go-to-market strategy that prioritises high-value accounts, builds sustainable pipeline, and accelerates revenue growth.
- Lead strategic customer conversations: Engage senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders to understand organisational priorities, uncover business challenges, and position Canva Enterprise as a strategic solution for digital transformation, collaboration, and AI-powered productivity.
- Drive new customer acquisition: Focus primarily on landing new enterprise customers through disciplined outbound prospecting, targeted account planning, and effective management of inbound opportunities. Build and maintain a healthy pipeline to consistently deliver new business growth.
- Identify and develop expansion opportunities: Leverage customer usage, adoption trends, and account insights to uncover opportunities for broader enterprise adoption, connecting Canva’s value to additional departments and business priorities.
- Collaborate to deliver customer success: Partner with Solutions Consulting, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to navigate complex customer requirements, ensure successful implementation, and establish a foundation for long-term growth.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven enterprise sales experience: You bring 3+ years of full-cycle B2B SaaS sales experience, with a demonstrated track record of acquiring new customers and consistently exceeding revenue targets.
- Public Sector expertise: You have at least 2 years of experience selling to Government organisations, with an understanding of public procurement processes, complex stakeholder environments, and enterprise buying cycles.
- A strong new business mindset: You thrive on building pipeline, opening doors, and creating opportunities. You know how to prioritise high-value accounts, execute disciplined outbound strategies, and convert opportunities into revenue.
- Commercial acumen: You confidently navigate complex negotiations, build compelling business cases, and structure deals that deliver measurable customer value and sustainable revenue growth.
- Ownership and adaptability: You operate with a high degree of autonomy, take accountability for outcomes, and adapt quickly to changing priorities. You're resourceful, proactive, and comfortable building a business in an evolving market.
