Who you are

We are seeking a dynamic and organised Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of the clinic, ensuring a high standard of patient care, managing queries, and supporting the clinical and administrative teams. What you’ll do

  • Taking responsibility for contributing to all aspects of the day-to-day management of the working environment including communication, data accuracy and helping to achieve a supportive, positive culture across the practice team.
  • Own the full onboarding and registration process. Support admin staff with management of new patient registrations
  • Liaise with GP practices to gather patient medical information for triage
  • Conduct medicines reconciliation consultations for new patient registrations
  • Conduct triage to determine eligibility for CBPM treatment in line with practice protocols
  • Monitor and support our vulnerable patients in line with practice protocols
  • Monitor and support our repeat prescription processes in line with practice protocols
  • Responding to patients’ queries; referring problems or queries to the pharmacist or Clinical Lead
  • Maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in line with GDPR regulations
  • Support in the delivery of clinic services including processing discharge/clinic letters
  • Support the Clinical Lead and Practice Manager deliver on governance & regulated activity
  • Collaboration with other healthcare professionals and the wider MDT to ensure high standards of patient care
  • Participate in complaint handling, investigations, and responding to feedback as required
  • Participate in audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Participating in ongoing training and development activities to keep up to date with the latest developments in medical cannabis treatments
  • Support meeting service level & individual level KPIs & SLAs.

What You’ll Bring

  • Applicants must have a pharmacy technician qualification (NVQ level 3 equivalent) along with primary care experience and registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
