About the Role
Cantor’s Information Security team is responsible for securing the firm’s global cloud estate across AWS, Azure, and GCP. We are seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to play a key role in protecting and strengthening our multi-cloud environment. This is a hands-on technical position focused on cloud security engineering, DevSecOps integration, and automation at scale. You will work closely with platform engineering, development teams, and vendors to embed security across the software development lifecycle and cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and management of cloud security controls across AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Drive DevSecOps and shift-left security initiatives across CI/CD pipelines
- Deploy and optimise CSPM/CNAPP platforms (e.g., Prisma Cloud, Defender for Cloud, Wiz)
- Develop and maintain policy-as-code and infrastructure-as-code security controls
- Investigate, triage, and resolve complex cloud security issues
- Monitor cloud security posture, configuration drift, and risk exposure
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, SOC, and third-party vendors to deliver secure solutions
- Support incident, change, and problem management processes
Required Experience & Skills
- 7+ years of experience in cloud security engineering, DevSecOps, or related roles
- Strong hands-on expertise across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP security services
- Experience with CSPM/CNAPP tools (Prisma Cloud, Defender for Cloud, Wiz, etc.)
- Solid understanding of IAM, encryption, key management, and cloud-native security controls
- Experience with Terraform and policy-as-code frameworks (OPA, Checkov)
- Knowledge of CI/CD security and automation practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Kubernetes and container security (EKS, AKS, GKE)
- Familiarity with secrets management solutions (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager)
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Google Chronicle)
- Relevant certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, CCSP, Terraform)
