The role is to look after the Settlements for Prime Brokerage covering all International Markets based in London to join the team, focused on communication with the Customer Service Team and the Counterparties in order to maximise Settlements and minimise unmatched & Fails in a timely fashion. The business includes Fixed Income, Equity and Repos.
The Candidate must have good Settlements knowledge across International Markets and be comfortable discussing Settlement Mismatches for resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring Unmatched trades are confirmed and matched before Intended Settlement Date, and communicating mismatches to the Prime Customer Service team
Ensuring Failing trades are chased for delivery and partial settlements agreed, to minimise fails
Producing daily reports for the Prime Middle Office & Customer Service teams, so they are updated on all trade status

- In-house mainframe systems: (Phase3/SYN/STN/RIMS)

Skills Required:
- Relevant experience in Prime Brokerage, with good Settlement knowledge of the International Markets & Repo
- Strong Relationship Management
- Dedication to information integrity and to produce high quality output
- Good presentation and communication skills in writing and verbal
- Daily monitoring of trade matching and the investigation / resolve any discrepancies by liaising with Internal Brokers and External clients to ensure timely matching and settlement of all transactions.
- Markets covered are Euroclear & Domestic for Fixed Income and Equity

We are currently operating a hybrid model for our shared services employees (including this role). We anticipate continuing these arrangements for the foreseeable future with periodic review.
